Recycling:
The Gas Safety Valve in this product contains mercury, which must be recycled according to city, state, and federal codes. Mercury is a highly toxic contaminant. Improperly recycled appliances can leak mercury into our environment. Call your recycling center to see if gas valves can be recycled there.
