If you’d like to extend the lesson on vocabulary by introducing other
skills and contexts, use the index to locate related TV411 video segments.
For example, in “Question Man: Restating” (episode 24), a judge
shows Question Man how to decipher the legalese in a lease with the
aid of context clues.
For the purposes of this sample lesson, we will introduce a quick and practical
tip for storing new vocabulary words. We selected a Street
Beat segment in which an adult learner shows viewers how to turn
an ordinary address book into a personal dictionary.
