Everything under the Sun, including the Sun, is made up of chemical elements. Some materials, like pure gold, pure mercury, and pure helium gas, are made of single elements. But most things we encounter in the world are made from a combination of elements. For example, table salt is a combination of the elements sodium and chlorine.

Our bodies are made up of a combination of elements as well. Here’s a list of some elements you may have heard of. Choose “Yes” for elements on the list that are found naturally in our bodies, and “No” for elements that are not.
